John Joseph Banker

John Joseph Banker, Jr. 19, passed away, Saturday, September 25, 2010, at his residence.

John was born in Augusta, Ga. to Lorie Ann Knight Stevens. He was preceded in death by one brother, T.J. Stevens.

Survivors include his Mother, Lorie Ann Knight Stevens of Morganton, NC; maternal grandfather, James Knight of Lenoir, NC; maternal step grandmother, Donna Knight; maternal grandmother, Karen Bentley of Granite Falls, NC; two brothers, Rocky Banker of Lenoir, NC; Cody Stevens of Morganton, NC; two uncles, Shane Jones of Granite Falls, NC; and Brett Jones of Lenoir, NC.

The family wishes to give their sincere thanks to Pastor Clifton Harmon who was John’s special care giver, for all of his love and support.

A graveside service is planned for John Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Hollow Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Clifton Harmon officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Pendry’s Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
