Joyce Faye Bradshaw

After a period of declining health, Joyce “Sis” Adams Bradshaw went home to be with her Heavenly family on November 15, 2017. She is and forever will be loved by her family that has been left behind. She was always full of love and life and it will never be forgotten. She always loved people and always welcomed all into her home.

Joyce, 83 years young, passed from this life at Caldwell County Hospice in Hudson, NC. She always loved being with people and meeting and making new friends. She loved playing Bingo and played until her health declined. She loved her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie W. Bradshaw , mother, Beatrice Catherine Pitts Adams, her father, William Paul Adams and a brother Robert Ray Adams.

Joyce survived by two daughters; Cathie Bradshaw Price of Lenoir, and Sharon Elaine Causby and domestic partner, Paul Moore of Lenoir, Grandchildren; John Paul Price and domestic partner Amanda Pritchard, Katherine Rae Price and wife Victoria Laneil, Keisha Nicole McMahon all of Lenoir and Matthew W Anderson, of Granite Falls, Great Grandchildren; Terence Matthew McMahon of Lenoir and Trinity Dare Anderson of Granite Falls; and a niece V Jan Adams.

A Funeral service will be held Monday, November 20, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Hudson at 2:00 pm with R. Mack Jarvis III officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home.
