She was born on August 29, 1942 in Virginia to the late Coy and Margaret Parsons. She was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed fishing and playing Bingo.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by three sons, Ray Shell, Arthur Crowe, and Kenneth Crowe; brother Harold Parsons and one grandson, Christopher Dale Crowe, Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Christopher Crowe and wife Desiree of Morganton; three daughters, Patricia Shell of Florida, Amy Enloe and husband Robbie of Lenoir, and Cassandra Crowe and husband Robbie of Morganton; two sisters, Dorothy Wilcox and Bonnie Greer, both of Lenoir; fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home Chapel with Phyllis Caldwell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir.
