Dear Melissa, Madison, Betty and Steve, 

We are so very saddened to hear about Justin's passing. We cannot imagine the pain of your loss, especially to have lost such a good person and family member.  It was always a pleasure to pass by and see him around the neighborhood. His mark on our family will always be remembered as he taught us how to handle our Della and keep our pack in good order from the first week we got our first family dog.  We remain with you with sympathy and in love.

Justin was a much loved son to my friends Mike & Cheryl Eaches.  They were a very close family.  They were also very proud of their granddaughter.  Cheryl spoke highly of her.  So sad.  Such a lose at a young age of a wonderful gift to this world.

It is hard to find the right words. To be honest any words to describe the shock of loosing someone so young and sudden. We are thinking of you all and we keep you guys in our prayers. Know that we are just across the street if you need anything.  We appreciate you guys friendship over the years and the love our girls have for each other. Love and prayers from the Bender family.

I have not been able to find the words to describe what you ment to me. Even as I sit here on the eve of your memorial I can't find the words. Maddy, know that your dad loves you so much! I recall sitting on the side of the interstate with him and would look at the time and either say, I have to call Maddy before she goes to school or before she goes to bed. You are is everything!! Justin,  I owe you more than I can ever repay, I love you brother and I will miss you.

I'm truly sorry for your loss. I know its not easy for the family losing a Father, Husband, Son and Friend. I'm just so thankful I had the chance to see you and to tell you goodbye and that I love you before you left.  Rest easy my friend.

I am so sorry for your family's loss.  I was friends with Eaches when we worked at DCSO together.  It seems a lifetime ago already. I've tried coming up with something witty to say, but I just can't find the words.  Eaches was a role model for me when I started on the road with DCSO, and we worked together from our 20's into our 30's.  There are so many great memories for me working with him during our time at DCSO and hanging out together.  The one that sticks out for me the most is his Taser video, or him puking into his gas mask while running the obstacle course at the SPD Fire Training conex boxes.  As Cord said, "It was a privilege to work beside him and an honor to call him my friend."  

I love you. I miss you. I didn't realize how much I was going to miss you till last night. I was talking about you and how amazing you were. All the fun I had with you, how many times you made me laugh. I'm working hard for you and I always will. I love you dad.♡

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Betty at SAFT.  She only had good things to say about Justin.  

To know Eaches was a privilege, to work with with him was an honor. He was a great interdiction officer that loved the cat and mouse game that law enforcement live for on a day to day basis.  When he needed help he would call me because he knew , in his words “ I was the only one that would do something”. May you Rest In Peace my friend and can’t wait to tee it up with you again.   Love you brother!!

You and your family have been in my prayers every night to find peace and healing. Hopefully time will help heal some of the grief,  and know your memories will be with you forever Melissa. Justin will always be looking down from heaven, to take care of you and Madison   he will be forever your guardian angel, Kathie Zimmerman 

Deputy Eaches was a friend of mine.  He taught me many things, and tried to teach me the skill of drug interdiction; that he had clearly mastered. He was a servant of the people, his efforts saved lives; a good and honorable man. He will be missed by many. Rest Easy 

I don’t have many memories as we didn’t see each other much. One I do recall though him and uncle mike came to ironton when I was just a young girl.  He was older so he took me and a couple cousins on a walk . I thought that was the best thing ever. I hate we never seen each other in our adult life. But he was loved by all of us in Ohio. I’m so very sorry Uncle Mike. Praying for comfort peace and understanding. Love you! ❤️Jess

I'm so sorry for your loss. I knew Justin from work. He participated in our Pumpkin Carving  Contest a few months ago and the picture he sent was so sweet; you could tell he wanted to do it for fun. I rarely saw him since he was out in the market, but I remember talking to him once and I thought, "Wow...this man is really genuine." Praying that you receive every comfort.

Justin would deliver to our store and every time we seen him pull in the parking lot, smiles would be on everyone faces. He was so sweet and kind. He was easy to talk to and he was a great friend. We love you Justin and you will truly be missed! Sending love and prayers to family. 

Celebration of Life

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his beloved wife: Melissa Sides Eaches and his precious daughter: Madison Riley Eaches , both of the home and his mother and father-in-law: Betty and
Steve Sides , a sister-in-law: Stephanie Gilbert of Lenoir. Justin was much loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
