Linda was my best friend! We always had fun together! If you needed her she was there! I always fixed her hair before we went to school! We would wear each other’s clothes and that gave us more to wear! She was the sweetest friend anyone could Come ever have! I love her so very much and will miss her much more than I can say! She is beautiful inside and out! She went through a lot of pain, I think especially when she lost her precious son Ashley! She loved all her children very much and would help anyone that she could! Linda was my best friend.  She was a person who would be there for you when you needed her.  We shared many good times together.  She was like a sister to me.  Linda was funny at times.  I remember her coming to my house to get me to go with her to see her dad in the hospital.  She came in in a hurry she was running late.  I looked down at her feet and she has on the same style shoe but of different colors.  Before leaving my house she picked up a spray bottle to give her hair one last spray and it happened to be my bathroom cleaner.  She remarked that if I didn't clean so much that would not happened.  End of story she said we have to go anyway no one will notice my shoes or dripping hair.  I loved her as my sister,  She will always be a wonderful memory.

There isn't much I can say about Linda that most people that knew her don't already know. I worked with this crazy, loving, caring, funny woman for years. No matter what was going on, she was always able to make me smile, or bring a chuckle to my lips. She was what I refer to as a "cracker-jack" and God bless her, I loved her for it. She had a little temper, which rarely came out but when it did, you knew to watch out. That was another thing among many that I admired about her. She experienced a lot of heartache in her life but never seem to let that touch that light that shown from inside her or to crush that big heart she had. She was quick witted and LOVED her family. Over the years after meeting most of them I understand how easy that was, she has a wonderful family. I know how hard this is on all of you but try to remember she is with our Lord now, feeling no pain, and waiting on us to join her. My heart goes out to all of you. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Sending lots of love to all.

May you receive comfort from our Heavenly Father. Linda was a sweet lady.  We chatted often when she would walk her sweet furbabies. From the first time I met Linda she reminded me so much of our Mama. She even sorta looked like Mama. I only got to see her when I would come up from Florida to visit my sister Debbie. Whether it had been 6 weeks, 6 months, or even longer, she always made me laugh. Her humor also reminded me of Mama. I hate she passed so suddenly and the holes in the hearts she leaves behind especially her kids and grandkids. I pray she is resting in Jesus' arms no longer suffering from this world...... I will always smile thinking about her outlook on life!!

Grand daughters Madeline Paszek-Lowman, Myra Paszek-Stevens, Ella Dillard, Lilly Dillard, and grandson Rylan Saulmon. Sister Tammy Hutchinson, four Great grandchildren along with a number of nieces and nephews.Ms. Stevens is survived by her daughters Michelle Wood (Jeff Jones) and Charity Dillard (Joey).
