Lois Marie McLean

Ms. McLean was born in Caldwell County to the late Robert Alexander McLean and Edna Bumgarner McLean. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Jack, Wilson and Ray McLean and sisters, Betty Lou McLean and Sue Helen McLean.

She was a homemaker and a member of Cedar Valley United Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir.

Survivors include her son, William Larry McLean and wife Sue of Newton; her brother Howard Thomas McLean of Lenoir and Fred McLean of Taylorsville; a sister, Dorothy “Dot” M. Reid of Lenoir; 1 grandchild, 2 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Pendry’s Chapel at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Julie Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Valley United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
