Margie Lou Morrison

Mrs. Morrison was born on October 25, 1925, in Caldwell Co., NC, to the late John E. Smith and Bessie Smith.

Mrs. Morrison was a faithful member of Union Grove Baptist Church, and worked at Century Furniture of Hickory for 41 years.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morrison was preceded in death by her husband Gordon Morrison, one sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by her son, Donnie Morrison of Lenoir; sisters, Shirley Benfield of Morganton and Sue Sigmon of Drexel.

A Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Pendry’ s Lenoir Funeral Home on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 1:00 pm, with Reverend Sam Craven officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home.
