Mary Lewis Herbert

Mrs. Herbert was born in Morganton, NC to the late Jack Lewis Bost and Nettie Lee Ramsey Bost. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Lewis Bost and shortly after her death her mother, Nettie Lee Bost passed on Friday, February 3rd, 2012. Dr. Herbert was a long time educator in Virginia Beach school systems.

Survivors include her husband John Herbert of Virginia Beach, and two step children; a brother, Joseph Ramsey Bost of Lenoir; a sister, Nancy Bost McLean of Lenoir; and her beloved dog Brando. She is also survived by two nieces, Jackie McLean Albrecht and Jodi Bost Grazier and a nephew, Jason Bost McLean.

The funeral services will be held simultaneously with her mother Nettie Lee Ramsey Bost Monday, February 6, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at Pendry’s Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Hardin officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, February 6th at Pendry’s Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Cary Setzer, Jason Bost McLean, Matt Grazier, Harding Clark, Randy Roper and Mitchell Setzer.
