Mrs. Mildred Juanita Starnes Tolbert, 92, of Hudson passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021 at Caldwell Hospice in Hudson. Mildred was born July 30, 1929 in Caldwell County to the late KV and Delia Miller Starnes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Clarence Tolbert, a daughter, Lori A. Tolbert, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Mildred was a life-long member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. She was a loving and dedicated wife and mother and was full of life. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, David Tolbert and wife Betty Jean of Lenoir, a brother, David Starnes and wife Carolyn of Hickory and a sister, Linda S. Brown of Claremont.
Also left to cherish her memory are numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
A graveside service will be held to honor Mrs. Tolbert on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 11:30 am at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with Rev. Alan Gaylord officiating.
