Nellie Ruth Coffey

She was born on September 8, 1953 in Wise County, Virginia to the late Jesse Logan and Emma Jane Coffey.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Benson, Troy, Paul, Jesse Jr., and Michael Coffey; and sister, Bonnie Coffey.

Those left to cherish memory include her husband, Steve Roy Coffey of Lenoir; daughter, Christy Wilcox of Lenoir; step-son Steve “Allen” Coffey and wife Hope of Moravian Falls; step-daughter, Wendy C. Annas and Steve Honeycutt of Lenoir; brothers, George Coffey and wife Teresa of Hudson, James Coffey of Granite Falls, and Roy Coffey of Roan Mountain, Tennessee; sister, Gladys Estes of Lenoir; grandchildren, Matt Clark, Macy Coffey, Allena Coffey, Brittany Coffey, Victoria Coffey, Hunter Annas, Josey Annas, and Jade Annas; great-grandchildren, Keegan Miller and Harrison Miller; special great-niece Emma Ruth Shatley; and a host of other nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Pendry’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Minton officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the funeral home.
