Nora Bell Hodges Cox, 97 died peacefully on April 7, 2011 at Lenoir Healthcare Center. She was born in Watauga County on August 6, 1913 to Clay and Nancy Parker Hodges. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Oby Odell Cox and her children, Maynard, Gene, Ruby, Peggy and Roy.
She has two surviving sons, Claude Cox of Albany, GA and Roger Cox of Hudson, NC. She had many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren who loved her. The family will hold private graveside rites.
