Ralph "Rl" Levi Settlemyre Jr.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Ralph Levi Settlemyre Sr. and Ruth Kirby Settlemyre.

Those left to cherish his memory, are his wife of nearly 31 years, Cathy S. Settlemyre, of the home, and two fur babies, Luna and Goldie; three children, Yvonne Smith and wife, Pam, of Texas, Robert Settlemyre and wife, Krissy, of Hudson, NC, Michael Settlemyre and wife, Brandy, of Hudson, NC; three siblings, Reggie Settlemyre, Patsy Gilbert, Angie Reid and husband, Jerry. Also, those left to cherish his memory are ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren and two step children, Brian Scheuermann and wife, Angie, of Hudson, Tracey Brown of Myrtle Beach, SC; along with a lot of extended family.

RL worked in various trades during his lifetime. He loved His Savior, he loved people, he loved riding motorcycles and enjoyed camping. He loved his neighborhood family. RL made such an impact saving the lives of many animals. He spent many years bringing joy and happiness to all of the many children and elders in the area portraying Santa Claus while sharing the love of Jesus Christ.

A celebration of life will be held for RL on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Pendry’s Funeral Home with Pastor Lance Wilson officiating.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Pendry’s Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the surviving widow are appreciated to assist with expenses.
