Robert Larry Church

Mr. Church was born on February 28, 1951, in Caldwell county, the late Jake Church and Rosie Moose Church. He worked for many years as a fixer for Ellis Hosiery . Mr. Church was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was the kind of man who never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off his back. He loved to talk to people and enjoyed socializing. Most, of all, he loved his family dearly.

Mr. Church is survived by his wife, Tammy; his daughters, Traci (Daniel) Martin, of Columbia, SC and Teresa Abernathy of Granite Falls; a son, Christopher Church of Hudson; brothers, Randy (Amelia) Church of Hudson, James (Rachel) of Dudley Shoals, and Leroy Church of Baton; sisters, Annie Huffman of Viewmont and Margaret Church of Newton; and five grandchildren, Ethan and Ben O’Sullivan of Columbia, SC, Madison Martin of Columbia, SC,and Gunner and Sawyer Church of Hudson.

A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Church will be held on Monday, August 21, 2107, at 7:00 PM, at Abundant Life Church of God, 333 Cedar Valley Rd., Hudson, NC, with Pastor Sam Abee officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
