Mr. Dawson was born in Buncombe County to the late Robert William Dawson, Sr. and Sara Howard Dawson. He was a truck driver and a veteran of the US Air Force.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Brenda Liner Dawson of the home; his son Allen Dawson and wife Jennele of Boone; his brother Howard Dawson and wife Kathy of Mountain City, TN; his sister Diane Landis of Lenoir; a special aunt, Anna Parker of Greensboro and numerous other relatives.
There will be no services held at this time.
