In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Kathy Sharpe and the mother of his children Betty Ann Nance.
Left to cherish Ron's memory are his daughters Melissa Dalton (husband Timothy) and Rebecca Hudson, his brother David Hudson, his grandchildren Darius Hudson, Jayden Hudson, and Kayden Dalton, and eight nieces and nephews.
Ron enjoyed music, mopeds, and cars. He had a difficult life, but Ron gave his life to the Lord thirty days before he died. His family takes comfort in the peace he showed in his final days. Ron will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, August 15, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home, 522 Wilkesboro Blvd, Lenoir, NC 28645.
