Ruth Marie Hall

Ruth Marie Burchette Hall, age 94, of Setzers Creek Road, Lenoir, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at Lenoir Healthcare Center. She was born January 10, 1923 in Wilkes County to the late Joe Burchette and Cora Combs Burchette. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, David Monroe Hall, a daughter, Lois Elaine Hall, and five sisters.

Mrs. Hall was a retired seamstress with CWS Fashions and was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Jesse Hall and wife Jane of Lenoir; three daughters, Joy Anderson and husband Larry of Jonesville, NC, Joan Annas and husband Larry of Granite Falls, and Jennie Hanna and husband Michael of Morganton; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 29, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Mt. View Baptist Church conducted by Reverend Jeff Hoyle. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Anderson, Jason Anderson, Jamie Hall, Michael Hanna, Wallace Hanna, and David Annas.
