Ruth Ellen (Hart) Walker

She was a wonderful, loving, giving, kind hearted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and dedicated wife. Her family was the center of her world; she loved the time she was able to spend with them. She will be greatly missed by her family who loves her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Clay Walker; her parents, Charles and Bessie Hart. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters Amy Walker Ward and husband Truett, Kimberly Laney, and a son Marshall Walker Jr. and wife Renda, all of Lenoir; her grandchildren Devan Keener, Josh Crisp, Jaime Crisp, Dillon Laney, William Brookshire, Amanda Herald, Dale Laney Jr, Joel Walker, Jaylon Walker, Justin Walker, her great-grandchildren, Ian Keener, Ethan Brookshire, Edith Laney, Lunova Crisp; an only sister Margaret Gragg and husband Ken of Gamewell who loved her dearly.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir.,
