Shirley Mae Craig Pritchard

Shirley Mae Craig Pritchard, 83, of Hudson, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare.

Mrs. Pritchard was born in Caldwell County to the late Lloyd Eli Craig and Annie Mae Craig of Hudson. She was retired from Hickory Springs Manufacturer and was a member of Central Baptist Church.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack McDonald Pritchard; sisters, Betty Beane and Bobbie Lyons, and a grandson, Charles Eric Pritchard.

She leaves behind, in addition to her mother, her sons, Toby Pritchard and wife Sherry of Granite Falls, and Mike Pritchard and wife Connie of Hemet, CA; her daughter, Carolyn Vanover of Marion; her brother, Larry Eli Craig of Hudson; 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren to cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home with Reverend John Jernigan officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends and family Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
