Stanley F Clark

Mr. Clark was the son of the late Millard Fillmore Clark and Fonnie Carpenter Clark. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Vernon, Doug and Dennis Clark; a sister, Bernice Hollobough; a son, Gary Clark, the former sheriff of Caldwell County. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War and served in the National Guard with a total of 30 years in service. He was retired from the furniture industry. He was a member of Calvary Advent Christian Church and a member of the Lenoir Moose Lodge and VFW.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Norma Williams Clark; his son, Alan Clark and his wife Vicki of Lenoir; his sisters, Jewel Harris of Hudson, Peggy Harris of Valdese and Reba Hennessee of Winston Salem.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 02, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in Pendry’s Chapel with Reverend James Lee officiating. Burial will follow the service in Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home prior to the service at 2:00 p.m.

Serving as pallbearers will be the men of Calvary Advent Christian Church.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Calvary Advent Christian Church at 1330 Delwood Dr. SW, Lenoir, NC 28645.
