She was born March 18, 1955 in Caldwell County to Clifford Summerow and the late Doris Wilson Summerow.
Wanda was a very talented artist and loved life. She graduated from Western Carolina University, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Arts Degree. She enjoyed writing and loved photography.
In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by a nephew, Chris Styles.
In addition to her father, Cliffard Summerow and wife Donna, those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 4 years, Lawrence Brown, daughters; Brooke Caudle and Jessica Caudle, brothers; Allen Summerow and wife Angie, Todd Summerow and wife Kathy, sisters; Donna Goodman and husband Barry, Connie Summerow, grandchildren; Dylan Perry and Kylie Huss along with many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at T.H Broyhill Walking Park at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 with Rev. Ron Burgett officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
