Barbara Ann Henry

Barbara Ann Henry, 75, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, December 28, 2015. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 2, 2016, at the George Price Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Steve Mosely of First Baptist Church in Whiteface officiating. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery. She was born Barbara Ann Evans in Lordsburg, New Mexico on July 11, 1940. As a young child she grew up in Santa Rita, New Mexico. She later attended Cobre High School in Bayard, New Mexico before moving to nearby Silver City, New Mexico where she would live until 1976. She married Bill Henry on September 5, 1976 and they moved to Whiteface, Texas, where she lived until her death. Barbara was a member of the First Baptist Church in Whiteface. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Henry, and one grandson, Tyler Kirkland. Barbara is survived by one brother, Roy Evans of Sacramento, California; daughters, Rhonda Robinson of Cresco, Pennsylvania, and Cindy Dorsett of Lubbock, Texas; one son, Darrell Dean Kirkland of Irvine, California; and an extended family of daughters, Sherry Chester of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Debra Henry of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Pam George of Benbrook, Texas; one son, Billy Mack Henry, Jr. of Carlsbad, New Mexico; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
