Carolyn S. Bentley

On October 22, 2014, Carolyn Sue Bentley was escorted by angels to meet her heavenly father at the age of 66. She was born in Lubbock, Texas on May 11, 1948. Her parents were Elmer and Blanche (Betty) Burleson.

Services will be held at Fifth Street Baptist Church in Levelland on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 10 am. Burial will follow at Seminole Cemetery at 2 pm. Services will be officiated by Brother Roy Prather.

Carolyn worked at the Seminole Memorial Hospital for many years. Her last years she was very involved in her church working with children in AWANAS and bible school. She loved Fifth Street Baptist Church very much.

She is survived by her daughter Pam Trammell of Levelland; two beautiful grandchildren, Ashley Trammell and Matthew Trammell, both of Levelland; a brother Robert Burleson and wife Linda of Lubbock; a brother Greg Burleson and wife Sue of Denver city, Tx; and several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a brother George Burleson.

The family would like to thank everyone for all the love and support they have shown through this difficult time.
