Donna Gayle McCormick

Graveside Services are under the direction of George Price Funeral Home in Levelland, Texas and will be held on Thursday November 10, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the City of Sundown Cemetery in Sundown, Texas with Pastor Jon Heatwole officiating.

There will be a Family Visitation at George Price Funeral Home in Levelland, Texas on Wednesday, November 09, 2011 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

Donna was born on November 25, 1951, in Lamesa, Texas, the daughter of Joe and Delores (Simmons) Carpenter. Donna Carpenter married Eddie McCormick on November 13, 1971 at the Sundown Baptist Church in Sundown, Texas.

Donna liked to “pitch a tent” whenever she went hunting or fishing. She enjoyed taking care of her garden and pets.

Donna is survived by her husband, Eddie McCormick, one son, Bryan McCormick and his wife, Toni of Tahoka, Texas, one daughter, Mindy Brattain and her husband, Michael of Sundown, Texas, one sister, Linda Kroninger and her husband, Frank of Flint Michigan, one brother, Jody Carpenter and his wife, Vicki of Corpus Christi, Texas, four grand-daughters, Miranda Hogue, Michaela Brattain, Ella McCormick, and Allie McCormick. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Delores Carpenter.
