Dustin Wayne Hodge

Dustin Wayne Hodge, 34, was welcomed into the world February 16, 1982; and went to be with the Lord on March 26, 2016. His most memorable days were spent surrounded by family and friends, and he blessed everyone he knew with his heart of gold. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at First Baptist Church in Levelland. Dustin is survived by his parents, Mike and Karen Rose Durrett and Floyd and Kathy Hodge. He and Stephanie Hodge have four beautiful children together: Keeton Rose (16), Emma Kay (11) Miley Lynn (8), and Jaxon Paul (7). He is also survived by Krystal Jackson; brother, Jordan Barker and his wife Rachel; sister, Sara Gresham and her husband Heath, and their children: Luke, Norah, Landry, Ruby and Jonah; sisters, Brittany Ramirez, Kayla Gonzales, and Kelsey Hodge. Dustin is preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Wanda Hodge. He has joined Johnie Paul and Judy Rose in eternity. Dustin accepted Christ as his personal savior and was baptized on February 4, 1996. He always kept his hands busy with a great work ethic and a love and talent for playing the drums. He enjoyed every genre of music from worship to heavy metal. His infectious smile and his giving heart were admired by all that knew him. Dustin’s four children were the light of his life, and his legacy will live on through them.
