Elinda Margaret Timmons

Funeral services for Elinda Margaret Timmons, 19, of Levelland will be 10:00 AM , Monday, October 25, 2010 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, with Rev. Rudolf Krasta, pastor and Rev. Michael Holmes, pastor, St. Paul Lutheran Church, Levelland, officiating. Burial will be in City of Levelland Cemetery under direction of George Price Funeral Home. She died Thursday, October 21, 2010 in Levelland.

Elinda was born on May 17, 1991 in Levelland. She had resided here all of her life. Elinda graduated from Levelland High School in 2009 with honors and was currently attending South Plains College.

She was a member of the National Honor Society. She had undergone a liver transplant when she was 12 years old and a double lung transplant when she was 17 years old. She was preceded in death by her greatgrandparents: Juan and Juana Zuniga, her great-great grandmother, Unice Beasley, and an uncle, Christopher Lloyd Timmons.

Survivors include: her mother, Christina Rodgers of Levelland, her brother: Christopher Rodgers of Levelland, her grandparents: Joe and Carmel Timmons of Levelland, her uncles: John Timmons and his wife, Mandy and Joe Timmons and his wife, Carrie, all of Levelland, her great grandparents: Richard and Wilma Timmons of Wolfforth, Wanda

Sherrod , of Kansas and her great great grandfather, Lloyd Beasley of Sedan, Kansas, her cousins: Andrew, Daniel, and Zane, and various uncles and aunts.
