Memorial services for Betty Shaw, 82, of Levelland will be 2:00 PM, Friday, December 3, 2010 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Levelland with Pastor Mike Holmes, officiating. Cremation services are under direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland, Texas.

She died Thursday, November 25, 2010 in Levelland, Texas.

Born on November 3, 1928 in Vallejo, California to Donald and Cecilia White Kemp, she lived in numerous places due to fact that her husband was engaged in the construction business. She married Robert Shaw on June 5, 1947 in El Dorado, Arkansas. She resided in Arkansas, California, Illinois, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and West Virginia before moving to Texas in 1997. She worked as a secretary for a community college and later for the State of West Virginia.

She was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Shaw in 2004.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Shaw of Levelland, Texas and a son: Robert W. Shaw and his wife Laverne of Lubbock, Texas, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
