Glenn Reed Price

Glenn Reed “Corky” Price went to meet the Lord, on December 29, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Mildred Jimison Price; three children, Glenda Renfro of Crane, Ron Price of Canyon, and Lynette Campbell of Levelland; two brothers, Bill of Levelland, and Jerry of Seguin; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grands; and one great great grandbaby.

Glenn was born in Hockley County to Tom and Lora Price in 1927. He graduated from Ropesville High School in 1944 then married Mildred Jimison on June 15, 1945. Glenn served the US Army from December 5, 1945 until December 30, 1946. From there he and Mildred lived in Lubbock where he was employed by Meads Fine Bread. Glenn was a member of Ropesville First Baptist Church for over 60 years.

In 1955 Glenn and Mildred along with their children moved to Ropesville and began his career as a farmer which he maintained until his passing.

Glenn was loved by many friends and will be missed. He will be remembered as a dear person, a fellow farmer, and mostly for that sparkle in his eye.
