Ila Mae Cotten Sullivan

Funeral services for Ila Mae Cotten Sullivan, 96, of Whiteface, Texas will be 10:00 am, Monday, June 18, 2012 in the First Baptist Church, Whiteface with Rev. Harold Harrison, officiating. Burial will be in City of Levelland Cemetery, Levelland, Texas under the direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland. She died June 13, 2012 in Whiteface, Texas.

She was born on February 27, 1916 in Lubbock, Texas to Charles and Mary Wood. She married R. C. (Bug) Cotten in November of 1931 and he preceded her in death in 1988. She later married Robert Sullivan in December 1991. She had lived in Hockley County since 1931 and then settled in Whiteface in 1971.

She is survived by three daughters: Bobbie Davidson of Whiteface, Texas; Neta Dickerson of Littlefield, and Jackie Fleanor and her husband Frank of San Antonio, Texas; three sisters: Lavinia Alley and Virginia Rodgers, both of Carthage, Texas; and Ruth Roland of Kalamazoo, Michigan.one brother: Bill Wood seventeen grandchildren, forty-six great grandchildren and a number of great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Kathryn Rhodes, two granddaughters: Jeannie Fias and Teri Dickerson, three brothers: Heston Wood, Vernon Wood, Shorty Wood and Allen Wood and a great grandson: Fletcher St. Clair.
