Graveside services for Jim Morgan, 91, of Levelland will be at 10:30 AM, MDT, Thursday, August 15, 2013 in Prairie Haven Cemetery, Hobbs, New Mexico with Doug Cage, officiating. Burial is under direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland, Texas. He died on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 in Levelland, Texas.

Jim was born on April 8, 1922 in Snyder, Oklahoma to John Blackburn and Ruth Jane (Stratton) Morgan. He married Dorothy Jean Watson on March 27, 1942 in Los Angeles, California and she preceded him in death on April 15, 1996 . Jim was a US Navy veteran of World War II. He retired from Watson Truck and Supply after 35 years and moved to Levelland in 1994 from Wilburton, Oklahoma. He was also preceded in death by six brothers, two sisters, a grandson, Steve Jennings and two great grandsons.

Survivors include his three daughters: Linda Jennings and her husband, Ed of Hobbs, New Mexico; Judy Payton and her husband, Ray of Levelland and Susan Graves of Stillwater, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and a great great grandson.
