John Shirley

Memorial services for John Shirley, 65, of Levelland will be held at 2PM in the George Price Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, October 30, 2015. John was born October 6, 1950 to Earnest and Mary Lee Shirley in Brownfield, Texas. He worked in the oilfield industry for many years as a tool pusher for Patterson, consultant for J.W. Malloy and was a self-employed field supervisor for Apache. Besides being very involved with his children and grandchildren, he was an avid fisherman and loved being on the water in the boat. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Bobby, sisters Janie and Peggy, and stepson Joe Roberts. John is survived by his wife Tammy; sons, Shooter and Justin; step-children, Terry Roberts and Mikey Roberts; his beloved canine children, Jackson, Fritz and Dog; sister, Vicky Nicholson; and grandchildren, Kody, Airlyn, Kiegan, Kaitlyn, Madison, and Chloe.
