Laura Bess Kitchens Davis

Graveside Services for Laura Davis, 82, of Cisco, TX. will be Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the City of Levelland Cemetery with Reverend Dennis McClure officiating. Services are under the direction of George Price Funeral Home in Levelland, TX.

She died on April 14, 2011 at Eastland Memorial Hospital in Eastland, TX.

Mrs. Davis was born July 24, 1928 in Oklahoma, to Willie and Bessie (Wright) Kitchens. She Married Wes Davis on March 3, 1945 in Levelland, TX. She enjoyed doing needlework and embroidery. She also enjoyed reading and being with her kids and grandkids.

She is survived by two daughters: Janet McGough and husband, Glen of Cisco, TX., Cheryl Davis of Mineral Wells, TX., one sister, Peggy Dean of Levelland, TX., two brothers: Roy Kitchens of Azle, TX., W.A. Kitchens and wife, Betty of AZ., one granddaughter, Lisa Jones of Rockwall, TX., two great-grandchildren: Kyler Jones and Brycen Hoover, both of Rockwall, TX., and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Bessie Kitchens, her husband, Wes Davis, one daughter, Priscilla Cooper and two brothers and one sister.
