Norvell Royce "Tutt" Williams

Funeral Services are under the direction of George Price Funeral Home in Levelland, Texas and will be held at George Price Funeral Home Chapel in Levelland, Texas at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 1, 2012 with Reverend Roy Prather, officiating.

Interment will follow at the City of Levelland Cemetery in Levelland, Texas.

Tutt was born July 14, 1924 in Lueders, Texas. He was the son of Lloyd Royce and Annie Belle (Corder) Williams. He graduated from Lueders High School in 1942, and shortly after, he joined the US Army and served in the US Army Air Corps. as an Aircraft Power Plant Mechanic, during which time he received several ribbons and medals. He married Pat Cunningham who preceded him in death in 1970. He was a member of the AF&AM Lodge 1236 in Levelland, Texas and received his 32nd Degree in Amarillo, Texas in 1974. He married Betty Lou Craddick who preceded him in death in 2008. He enjoyed taking care of his yard as well as tinkering with various things. He thought of himself as a pretty decent handyman. Tutt enjoyed hunting and fishing, and liked to read and he kept a daily journal of things that happened that day.

He is survived by three daughters; Brenda Easterling of Nashville, Tennessee, Cindy Kauffman and her husband, Mike of Levelland, Texas, Deedee Taylor and her husband, Rick of Edmond, Oklahoma, five grandchildren; Chris Kiser, Sean Kauffman, Judi Moore, Darin Kauffman, and Alicia Taylor, four great-grandchildren, four step-children, and ten step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; Lloyd and Annie Williams, two brothers; Kenneth Wayne Williams and Stanley Gene “Buttons” Williams.
