Albert S. ServentiAlbert S. "Buddy" Serventi of Bensalem died suddenly on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. He was 89.Born in Coupon, PA, Mr. Serventi moved to Bensalem in 1954 and was a member of St. Charles Borromeo parish. He worked for U.S. Steel in the Blast Furnace for 30 years until retiring in 1986. He was a U.S. Army veteran.He was an avid gardener who also enjoyed bowling and spending time at the Bensalem Senior Center. Mostly, he was dedicated to his wife Eileen.Beloved husband of 65 years to the late Eileen, Mr. Serventi is the loving father of Joanne (John) Kutalek, Darlene (Ed) Drazek, Sharon (Dave) Kamp, Cathy Bowman, Denise Serventi, Chris (John) Uccelletti, June Serventi and Terri (Dave) Webb.He is the devoted grandfather of Matthew (Melissa), Mark (Val), Gary (Tom), Odessa (Tom), Michael (Chase), Steven (Casey), Allison (Megan), Derek (Trish), Nikki (Ryan), John, Catie, and Emily; and the proud great grandfather of Dylan, Reese, Brandon, Charlotte and Jackson.One of 11 siblings, Mr. Serventi is survived by two sisters, Jenny Ratti and Tillie Serventi as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.Family and friends are invited to call from 6 until 9 p.m. on Monday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, 10 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1731 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem followed by Rite of Committal at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.   There will be no calling hours on Tuesday morning.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Serventi's name may be made to the Alzheimers Association, Inc. - Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
