Alice Q. Lafferty

Born on July 22, 1931, Alice was the second youngest of six children born to Joseph and Evelyn Quinn of the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia.

Alice was employed with the Neshaminy School District for 33 years as an executive secretary. She retired in 2000 and served again as secretary for the annual Neshaminy Retirees luncheon. Alice continued meeting with her beloved Cherry Street alumni group and served as board secretary for the PA Association of School Retirees (PASR) until this year.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Levittown where she served as a Deacon and office volunteer.

Preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Lafferty and her husband of 62 years, Burns Lafferty Jr., Alice is survived by her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Lafferty's family will receive relatives and friends from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at the First Presbyterian Church of Levittown, 5918 Emilie Road, Levittown, PA 19057 where her funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Interment will be held privately.
