

Born in Philadelphia, he was a lifelong area resident. He served his country honorably in the US Army. He worked as a Quality Control Inspector for SPS Technologies, until his retirement.
In his spare time, Allan loved fishing on his boat "the Valhalla", and hanging out with his buddies at Lighthouse Point Marina, Wildwood, NJ. He reveled in driving his Corvette, and was an avid skeet shooter. He opened his home to many animals over the course of his life. His best friends were his beagle, Bolt, and his cat, Misty.
Predeceased by his parents, Albert and Ann Schoppy; his loving wife of 55 years, Nancy; and his sister, Marlene; he is survived by his beloved daughter, Debbie Rosenstein (Mike); his grandson, Anthony; and his granddaughter, Lauren.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 9:00 am until 10:30 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am at St Ephrem's Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA.
Burial with Military Honors will occur at Sunset Memorial Park, Huntingdon Valley, PA.
