

Alvin M. Crouse II of Hulmeville died on Friday, August 14, 2015. He was 55. Born in Philadelphia, Alvin was raised in Fairless Hills and was a 1978 graduate of Pennsbury High School. Alvin was Marine Corps veteran. He was a superintendent of demolition and had many certifications in the field. Alvin worked for Rich McManus Environmental and worked many jobs including Madison Square Garden. Alvin enjoyed golfing, fishing and boating. He also loved scuba diving, hunting and riding his motorcycle. He was an avid Steelers and Eagles fan. Son of the late Sandra (Kimbal) and brother of the late Craig, Alvin is survived by his beloved father Alvin (Tubby) Crouse and his loving siblings George (Tracey), Cathleen "Sissy", Eugene and Christopher (Norreen) He was the father of Christine (Angelo), Jimmy (Jennifer) and Nicole (Alex) and was the grandfather of Charlie, Alayna, Cale, Ava-lee and Jaiden. He was the uncle of Melinda, Kenny, Jerrica, Taylor Mae, Miranda, Calianna, Alicyn, Alexius, Dana and Brett. He will also be missed by his long time companion Michele Baron; his best friend Faith Strickland and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 6 until 9 p.m. and Thursday from 8 until 9 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Church. Interment is private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
