Born in Bristol, PA she was a lifelong area resident before moving to Delaware. Kim was a graduate of Neshaminy High School, Class of 1991. She loved God, her precious dog Gracie, and spending time with her children. She also enjoyed traveling, baking, music, learning and good humor.
Kim had a playful spirit and a laugh that was irresistibly contagious. She was highly ambitious, always seeking growth opportunities, with a strong desire for success as she wanted to provide an abundant life for her family. With her generous heart, she often put others before herself. She even had dreams of building a sanctuary to help those less fortunate than her. Her resilience and strength was remarkable as she was a strong advocate for herself, especially medically, considering the numerous and consistent health challenges she faced throughout her life.
She is predeceased by her mother, Melissa Barbara Miller, her siblings, Grace Michelle Edwards and John Edwards; and her grandparents, Grace Carey, who raised her after her mom passed, and Helen Graham. Kim is survived by her loving children, Brittany and Albert Neferdorf; her father, Ronald W. Edwards; her siblings, Sonya Robinson, Ronald Edwards, II, and Robin Daye; her aunts, Klaya Bryant and Paulette Griffiths; 6 nieces and nephews; 17 great nieces and nephews of whom she absolutely adored; and a host of cousins.
Memorial gathering will be held Friday, March 21, 2025 from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM with a service at 2:30 PM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown PA 19056.
Her life was a true testament of perseverance, strength and love. Though she will be deeply missed, she will live on in the hearts of her children as the SuperWoman they've always known her to be and in the hearts of all those who knew her or were uplifted or inspired by her.
May she rest in eternal peace and comfort, free from all pain and suffering.
