André Johnson tragically passed away on May 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of family at Einstein Hospital. André was a beloved son, brother, cousin, nephew and friend whose intelligence, humor, and kind heart left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Born to Donna and Roland Johnson, André grew up with a naturally curious mind. He graduated from Pennsbury High School in 2017 before continuing his education at Bucks County Community College, where he completed the Machinist Program in 2019. André worked a variety of jobs as a machinist and was known for his strong work ethic, sharp mind, and willingness to help others whenever he could.
André had a passion for life’s simple joys. He especially loved summer vacations in the Outer Banks, where he enjoyed relaxing on the beach, spending time in the pool and hot tub, and playing spoons with his cousins and extended family. He treasured time spent with family and friends and loved hanging out with the people he cared about most. André was known for being a master of random facts and could hold conversations on nearly any topic, amazing others with his knowledge and quick wit. His friendships, many of which began during his time at Eleanor Roosevelt Elementary School and Pennsbury High School, remained an important and cherished part of his life.
To those closest to him, André was thoughtful, incredibly smart, and deeply loyal. He was the kind of person people could depend on — always willing to lend a hand, offer advice, or simply be there when needed. Though quiet at times, his presence brought comfort, laughter, and authenticity to those around him. André was so strong and fought so hard through all his challenges especially this last year.
André is survived by his parents, Donna and Roland Johnson; his sister, Trystan Johnson; his beloved pets, Bam Bam and Pip; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, lifelong friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
A celebration of André’s life will be held on Friday , May 15, 2026 at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., beginning at 10:00am. An Open Floor Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m., where guests will have the opportunity to share their cherished memories and stories.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives he touched.
