Born in Jersey City, NJ to Michael and Camilla Amoroso, he was a long-time area resident. Tony served his country faithfully in the US Navy and was honorably discharged in 1966.
Tony was a great, loving family man. He was always there to help anybody and expected nothing in return. He was very generous, charitable man. He had a gift of gab and would talk to anyone, mostly of how proud of his son he was.
He loved his pets, especially his cat Sabrina, and his poodle Chanel.
Tony was definitely a gas-engine car man. The louder the car was, the more he liked it. He used his skill of welding to ensure that any vehicle could be made road worthy.
Tony was a man with a strong, tough exterior, but had a loving heart of gold.
Tony is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Georgina; his son, Anthony and his wife Martina; and his grandson, Leonardo.
