Antoinette M. Hess

Antoinette M. Hess Antoinette M. (nee Distler) Hess passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Aria Health Torresdale Campus. She was 67. Born in Philadelphia, Antoinette has been a long time resident of Lower Bucks County. She was a 1964 graduate of the former Woodrow Wilson High School. Antoinette worked for many years as an insurance compliance consultant. She was a wonderful and devoted grandmother. Spending time with her grandchildren brought her great joy. Antoinette is the beloved mother of Vincent L. Bodnar (Amy) and Michelle L. Miller (Mike). She is also survived by her husband Kenneth and his children, Scott Ludwig (Chanel); Jennifer Sanceciz (Ron); and Michael Hess (Jackie). Antoinette is the devoted grandmother of Christopher, Kenneth and Colby Moser; Brittany, Cassandra and Shane Bodnar; Kai Ludwig; Emily Sanceciz; Brianna and Tyler Hess; and proud great grandmother of 6. She will also be sadly missed by her 6 siblings and numerous nieces and nephews. Antoinette was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Harriet Distler and two brothers. Family and friends are invited to call Friday, August 1, 2014 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Friends may also call on Saturday, August 2, 2014, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at Saint John the Evangelist Church, 752 Big Oak Road, Morrisville, PA, where her funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. The Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
