

Arlene “Mimi” Adams, age 89, passed away on July 27, 2025 at The Remington of Yardley. She was a long-time resident of Levittown, Pennsylvania.
Arlene was born to William and Helen Kaufmann. She graduated from Frankford High School and went on to pursue a nursing degree at Presbyterian Hospital. Arlene dedicated her career as a Registered Nurse, working for many years at an OB/GYN office. She later served as the Director of Planned Parenthood in Bristol, PA, where she continued her passion for women's healthcare, also teaching childbirth classes in her home.
Arlene was a devoted Disney fan who cherished countless trips to Disney World with her family. She also had a love for cruising, having gone on over 60 cruises in her lifetime. She was known for her sharp sense of humor and quick sarcasm, which always kept those around her laughing and on their toes. Her joyful spirit, love for family adventures, and dedication to others defined the way she lived.
Arlene was preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher Raspanti, her parents William Kaufmann and Helen Kaufmann (nee Chrzanowski), and her sister Lorraine Vetter.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Donald V. Adams; her children: Neil Adams (Edwardine “Tedi”), Kimi Raspanti (William), and Jill Barnasevitch (Michael); her grandchildren: Greg Raspanti (Elizabeth), Lindsay Albert (Robert), and Brett Raspanti (Katelynn); and her great-grandchildren: Christopher and Nora Raspanti, and Layne and Lou Albert.
A visitation for Arlene will be held Monday, August 11, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19056, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM.
