Arlene C. Chiovitt

Born in Trenton, Arlene has been a life long resident of Levittown and graduated from Bishop Egan High School in 1960. She worked as a teacher's aide in the Pennsbury School District for many years.

She attended Restoration Church in Levittown, Arlene's heart was devoted to the Lord. She was actively involved in the shared meal ministry and sending greeting cards to brighten someone's day.

Arlene was a wonderful baker and cook and she was noted for her prize winning cookie in a Land-O-Lakes baking competition.

She adored her cats, Jonah, Noah and Toby and her grandson's dog, Zoro. Mostly, she loved being with her grandchildren, family and friends.

Arlene was the loving mother of Lisa Rodriguez and Michael Freitag (Tina) and devoted grandmother of Ryan and Evan Freitag and Alec Rodriguez.

Daughter of the late Otto Joseph and Helen (Lewandowski) Chiovitt, Arlene was the sister of Joan M. Chiovitt and the late Joseph R. "Rick" Chiovitt and aunt of the late Joseph "Ricky" Chiovitt Jr.

She will also be missed by her aunt, Bonnie Lewandowski and many cousins and life long friends.

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 a.m. until 12 noon on Saturday, August 14th at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her funeral service will be held at 12 p.m.  Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
