Aurora “Doris” Tierling, age 90, passed away on July 16, 2025, at St. Mary Medical Center. She was a longtime resident of Kingwood Township, NJ and Bucks County, PA.
Doris was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She dedicated her life to her family and took great pride in caring for her home and loved ones. Doris enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, tending to her garden, ceramics, and senior trip activities. Doris was a fun loving lady to be around and enjoyed being with people.
Doris is now reunited with her beloved husband of 43 years, Erhard Tierling.
She is survived by her daughters Evelyn Walker (Charles) and Nancy Lyons (Adam); her grandchildren: Maria Lyons, Chanelle Lyons, Crystal Miller (Jason), and Joshua Lyons; and her great-grandchildren: Jaelynn and Caylee Miller, and Nathan, Tucker, and Tess Lyons. She will also be missed by Alex and Caitlin McMahon, with who she was a great-grandmother figure to.
Her warmth, generosity, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her, and she will be forever missed.
