Born on July 1, 1951, Barry lived a life marked by devotion to his family, pride in his country, and quiet faith. He was preceded in death by his beloved high school sweetheart and wife, Jackie, in 2016. Barry and Jackie shared a deep love for one another and for traveling together, creating cherished memories on their many adventures. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Beatrice Breech.
Barry graduated from Pennsbury High School before earning his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University and later his graduate degree from Rider University. He was proud to have served his country as a veteran of the United States Army, carrying that pride with him throughout his life. Barry went on to build a dedicated career with Verizon, from which he eventually retired.
Family meant everything to Barry. He is survived by his brother, Ronald Breech, and was a loving uncle and cousin who took great joy in staying connected with those he loved. He was especially proud of his family and valued every opportunity to gather together. The friendships he established with his college friends and work buddies also mattered a great deal to him, and he treasured those lifelong connections.
In his later years, Barry found joy in attending church and participating in a weekly phone Bible study with a dear friend from California — a time of fellowship he deeply treasured.
Barry will be remembered for his steady presence, his loyalty, his love for family, and his enduring faith. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
