Bernard C. Martin Bernard C. Martin, of Zephyr Hills, FL, passed away peacefully on Father's Day, Sunday, June 17, 2012. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Mr. Martin was a long time resident of Fairless Hills prior to moving to Florida. Until his retirement in 1986, he was employed as an appliance technician in the service department of Sears & Roebuck Co. for more than 25 years. Bernard was preceded in death by his wife Mary A. (Otto) who passed away in 1988. He will be greatly missed by his children and their spouses, Patricia and Lee Bush, Kenneth and Kathleen Martin, Catherine and Robert Pollack and Mary and Karl Mascia. He will also be sadly missed by 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday morning, 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown, PA, where his Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bernard's name may be made to the American Heart Association, 1617 JFK Blvd., Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA 19103 or American Cancer Society 480 Norristown Road, Suite 150, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
