Mae E. GegenheimerMae E. "Betty" Gegenheimer (nee Kealey) of Langhorne died on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Holy Redeemer Hospice. She was 80.Born and raised in Philadelphia, Mrs. Gegenheimer has been a long time resident of Lower Bucks County.Betty loved the Mummers and enjoyed traveling. Mostly, she enjoyed spending time with her family.Beloved wife of the late Charles F., Betty is the loving mother of Michelle Gegenheimer-Eldridge (Ed) and devoted grandmother of Brianna A. Eldridge.She is also survived by her sisters, Sissy, Mary, Tootsie, Diane (Tony); her brother, Fran (Donna); sister-in-law, Theresa; godchildren, Debbie Hamon (John), Jim McLaughlin (Debbie) and Jim Kealey (Annette); numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.Betty was preceded in death by her brother, Jim and sister, Cassie.Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, November 20, 2018,from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem where her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow at Beverly National Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mummer's Museum, 1100 S. 2nd St., Philadelphia, PA 19147.
