

We are sad to announce the death of Calvin R. Marshall, 83, who died on Monday, April 24, 2023, after a brief stay at Jefferson Bucks Hospital. He was born on July 9, 1939, in Shenandoah, PA, the son of Calvin and Martha (Taylor) Marshall.
Calvin graduated from Morrisville High School, class of 1957. There he belonged to the Rode Rippers Club. Following graduation he joined the United States Navy and while serving as a Navy man, he married his high school sweetheart, Ida Patricia (Rosati) Marshall. They celebrated 63 loving years of marriage together.
Cal worked as a Service Technician repairing manual, electronic and computerized cash registers at TRW for 27 years. Also, he was a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty and a Landlord for many years. He finally retired as a Repairman for the New Jersey Association of School Administrators in 2008.
Years ago, Cal received the “Carl H. Binghamton” award for his 15 years of service as President and Coach with the Pennsbury Athletic Association. Cal was an avid fisherman to say the least. He was an original founding member of the Hemlock Rod and Gun Club. As one of the Elders of the club, he was actively involved most of his life. He was very proud to help organize and host their annual fishing seminar and enjoyed sharing his love for fishing with anyone, especially the kids.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Martha (Marshall) Little and by his brothers, Martin, Richard and James Marshall.
Cal is survived by his loving wife, Pat; his sons, David K. Marshall and Daniel Marshall; his daughter, Linda (Marshall) Price; his adoring two granddaughters, Julie Price (Dominic Lee) and Jamie Price; his sister and brother-in-law, Jean (Marshall) Casoni (Edward); his brother, Thomas Marshall; many nieces and nephews, a bunch of loyal club members, a lot of avid fishermen and friends.
A viewing will be held for friends and family on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 6:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown PA, 19056
Words of remembrance by family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
A burial of cremated remains will take place on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.
