AVIS DE DÉCÈS

Carl Philip Ceriani Sr.

10 janvier 1952 – 7 avril 2026
Avis de décès de Carl Philip Ceriani Sr.
AUX SOINS DE

James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc.

Carl Philip Ceriani Sr., age 74, passed away on April 7, 2026. Born January 10, 1952, Carl will be remembered as a beloved and cherished presence—someone whose steady work ethic, generous spirit, and unmistakable sense of humor left a lasting imprint on all who knew him.

Carl’s devotion to those he loved was constant and practical. He always made sure his family was taken care of, offering care and love in the everyday ways that matter most, and showing his sons that love in different ways. His pride and joy also extended to his grandchildren, whom he truly loved.

A hard-working man with a warm, easy humor, Carl brought people together through the things he enjoyed most. Carl, Sr. and his brother, Raymond developed a passion for lifting weights and drove to York Barbell and bought their first Olympic Barbell set with a squat rack which they still have to this day. Both of them passed that passion to their sons and many nephews, cousins and family friends.

Carl, Sr. would meet with his son Carl, Jr. at LA Fitness every Sunday no matter what for over 10 years—that was their day and they shared it with many, specially Tom Woodruff. Pops would always say, “Where’s Skullzy” if he was running late.

He also had a love for his sports teams, the NY Mets and the Dallas Cowboys. Pops loved talking baseball with his boys. Eddie and Pops loved talking Mets, while he loved to break chops on Carl, Jr. for being a Phillies fan.

His interests carried into the music and movies he enjoyed, too. Carl loved action and western movies, and lets not forget The 3 Stooges. Carl was a huge heavy metal fan of various groups, including Judas Priest, Scorpions, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin.

Predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Laurene Ceriani; his wife, Barbara Ceriani of 27 years; his brother, Raymond, Jr.; his son, Philip Ceriani; his sisters, Tina Menendez and Lisa Ceriani; and brothers-in-law, Edward Mellor and Raymond Menendez.

Survived by his children and their spouses, Carl P. Ceriani, Jr. and his wife Katharine, Nick and Brittany Ceriani, and Eddie and Kim Gribbin; his grandchildren, Angelo, Carl, III, Isabella, Nick, Jr., Lilianna and Philip Ceriani, Jr.; his sister, Ramona Meller; his sister-in-law, Virginia Ceriani; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19056, on April 17, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

Carl will be deeply missed and warmly remembered, with gratitude for the care he gave, the laughter he brought, and the steadfast love he showed to his family.
