Catherine T. Tritsch

Born in Philadelphia, the only daughter of the late Anne (Veasey) and John McElroy, Catherine has lived in Levittown since 1956.  

She graduated from Temple University in 1954 where she met her husband Harlen on the first day of class registration.  Catherine was an editor for Successful Meetings Magazine for 30 years and was able to travel the world as part of her responsibilities. An avid genealogist, Catherine also enjoyed gardening, reading, and experiencing new adventures.

Catherine was preceded in death by her husband Harlen, and her brothers Charles, John, and Harry.  Catherine is survived by her daughter Joanne and her nieces and nephews, Patricia Hornbaker (Paul), Thomas McElroy (Susan), Eileen Carlisi (Thomas), Robert McElroy (Marie), Margaret Mary Dwyer, John McElroy, Patrick McElroy (Jeanette), and Timothy McElroy (Tracy). 

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, July 27th from  9 until 10:30 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery, Newtown.
