

Chuck was born in Bristol, PA to Fred and Margaret Bowman, and graduated from Pennsbury High School. Chuck was drafted into the Army where he received both the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. The Army also shaped his character, instilling in him a strong sense of duty, respect, and discipline. After being discharged, Chuck made his mark as a dedicated printer at the Courier Times where he worked for many years.
In his younger years, Chuck was an avid bowler, a hobby that brought him much joy and camaraderie. His passion for sports continued throughout his life, with a particular love for all Philadelphia sports teams and Penn State football. He could often be found cheering on his teams, celebrating victories, and enjoying the camaraderie of fellow fans.
Known for his simplicity, Chuck was a man who found happiness in the little things. He never sought attention or accolades but instead was content with his life, focused on family, work, and his passions.
His quiet strength, loyalty, and kindness left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Chuck is now reunited with his wife of 26 years, Judy Bowman, his parents, and his siblings: Ronald Bowman, William Bowman, Peggy Bruce, Edith Oliver, and Beverly Rusay.
He is survived by his children: Dawn Keen (Mark), Chuck Bowman (Melanie), Joe Bowman (Emilie), Raymond Bowman (Shannon), Rick Bowman, Rob Picciotti (Carla), Mark McKenna (Dawn), Billy McKenna (Kellie), and Tammy Picciotti; his 21 grandchildren: Parker, Mason, Anna, Carson, Jameson, Ceijai, Melissa, Travis, Dustin, Nicholas, Skye, Justin, Cassidy, Zack, Brandon, Jenna, Dalton, Tyler, Tiffany, Jasmine, and Melissa; and his great-grandchildren: Alexis, Mason, Matthew, Andrew, Avery, Juliette, and Callie.
A memorial service with full military honors for Chuck will be held Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, Pennsylvania 18940.
